Water-cooling is a popular choice for high end computer systems, far quieter than fans and also 25 times more efficient in conducting heat. Here is a showcase of custom computer systems that incorporate water-cooling into their overall design.

Bill "Overkill" Owen builds some of the most elaborate, detailed and stunning case mods you will find anywhere. It comes as no surprise that he managed to take home the prize for Nvidia's ION case mod contest, where five professional case modders were given the challenge of building a "revolutionary Ion-based PC" out of an Zotac Ion ITX 330 motherboard containing an Nvidia Ion GPU and an Intel Atom dual-core CPU.

As far as steampunk case mods go, this may be the most intricate we've seen yet. It stands at about 9 feet tall and weighs nearly 400 lbs, trumping anything with size alone. Be sure to check out the full article for additional photos and information.
