Just completed a new build, and cleaned out my office to downsize a lot of the old tech and wire mess that was in it in my previous setup. The new PC is much cleaner & faster.

I started building up this office in 2007. Back in those days, I was forced to live with Windows Vista. Shortly after I built my new machine in December of this past year, I got a new monitor, new keyboard, and other peripherals that really completed the look and feel of my home office. I still plan to get another Flatron E2350 (my monitor) at some point. But for now, this is where things stand.

Self made Desk made out of solid oak(Main Desk) and Form MDF With Mahogani Veneer Leafes (Drawer Unit), a complete visible integrated Computer System Accomedates the inside of the Desk Plus a Routered insert for a Apple Docking Station.

Most Internal cables are neatly hidden in purpose built cable canals which just only leaves some External cable (Monitor and Speaker).

Ive inserted(painstakingly) a glass plate for the main part of the desk so the computer components can be visible.

I have now only the internal computer components that need to be fixed properly into their rightful places. This is now my third on-going year of this project but as you can see its almost complete.

ive felt like sharing my project officially on the Internet and i hope you enjoy looking at my Idea as it did me making it.

Here's my tech room. I like how the design as progressed. Here's the specs. Custom built rig. I-7, Gigabyte Mobo, X-fi, GeForce 260, 12GB RAM, 8 internals (6Tib), Gigabit LAN, and wireless-n, optical blu-ray. Scores 7.3 on Win test. Speakers 5.1 Logitech Z-5500, 12" sub, console interface. Printer & Scanner & Webcam. 27" HP 2709m monitor doubling as a television set connected HDMI to cablebox. Cable box audio intereface with speakers through SPDIF into Logitech console. 10TiB Drobo. Bose QC-15 & 160GB iPod classic w/ all Apple Lossless. ION record player, optical to x-fi in. TrendNet 450mpbs router. Bandwidth; 36mbps down 6 up. Droid X to blutooth speaker for music when pc is down. And a Lenovo x61 running Backtrack 5 for misc purposes. Photos taken with Sony A-850 DSLR. Not shown Alesis IO/2 recording setup.

I design the book covers to the screenplays I publish and write.
Having 3 screens means I can work on a couple of scripts at once using Movie Magic Screenwriter software plus spread out the designs of my book covers.
I built my AMD PC at Fry's Electronics here in Las Vegas Nevada where I also purchased 3 SAMSUNG LED SYNCMASTER BX2431;
I upload my screenplay Wicked Wretched Wraith Men/Earl Harold Paul Immortal Man book7 to www.withoutabox.com to compete in 3 screenwriting competitions monthly. My goal: the sales of movie rights!

2x 80gb Intel X25m SSDs, in raid 0+1 for OS

9TB storage NAS (4x 3tb drives in raid 5) with another, identical setup as mirrored raid (raid 1) NAS (also 4x 3tb drives), which is backed up to another, identical, external NAS once a week, rotated out and kept off site.

Here we go....

Desk: Built from scratch. My first real furniture build so I though it turned out great with the matching shelves and hardware..

Monitors: 2 on the left are Samsung LED 32 inch TV's with Ergotron MX desk mount arms with custom made plates for mounting. Monitor right is just a 28 inch Hanns G that runs my server computer with another Ergotron MX arm.

Mice: 1 R.A.T. 9 and 1 R.A.T. 7 (love these)

Ipad on the left with Joy factory desk mount swivel arm and some lighting that I picked up at IKEA for the desk.

My home office also controls the house with my server pushing XBMC through the whole house. Every TV in the house has HTPC's and I use TrendNET powerline Networking. Next is Home security.
