About the Desk Mod
Four years ago, this project began as a corner desk with a custom built computer inside a Thermaltake chassis. However over the course of the last six months, the chassis disappeared as the components of the PC were mounted to the actual desk. The only remaining component of the original chassis is the motherboard tray and I/O panel. A few pieces were custom fabricated, including the chrome trim and the back cover. The front cover is al laser etched.

How many pixels is too many? This setup is composed of five 24″ monitors, four of which are an array of portrait monitors with the combined diagonal distance of 52 inches amounting to over 8 million pixels. The computer is a Windows 7 workstation running several virtual OS’s.

About the Mod
Started back in 2006 by modder Pinchillo, no one can deny that this project was a huge undertaking. Now, after four years with a long hiatus, the project has at last been completed. Warhammer 40K fans will love this monstrosity of a dreadnought, which comes complete with a spinning minigun.
