About the Setup
Even aside from the sweet collection of Superman action figures, this setup delivers quite a bit. The center computer setup is a 2.66GHz iMac 24″ with an additional 19″ Viewsonic display vertically attached, Apple Wireless Keyword and a Magic Mouse. Also seen front and center is a Wacom Bamboo pen tablet.

The second computer setup if a PowerMac G5 attached to a Gateway 24″ HD display. This setup has the beautiful Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard and Revolution mouse. Seen next to the G5 tower is a 13″ Macbook Pro on a Twelve South BookArc.

Additional goodies include an Xbox 360, iPhone 3Gs 32GB and iPod shuffle.

About the Setup
There’s a handful of electronics in this home media center and college dorm computer setup. The computer setup runs off a Dell XPS 420 with dual Dell 19″ monitors. Tucked behind the monitors on the desk are two Western Digital external drives: 500GB and 750GB.

The television is a 26″ Samsung LCD TV. It sits atop an Onyko 5.1, which is hooked up to the computer, TV, and Samsung DVD player. Additionally there is a Creative 2.1 speaker system hooked up to the computer. One necessary upgrade: a universal remote!

About the Setup
There’s a lot that stands out about this setup, including custom built speakers, a dual monitor computer setup, a Yamaha piano, and intricate and detailed model ships. This home office also serves as a bedroom and recreational area. Almost all of the furniture you see here is home made. Even the chair is recycled from an old mini cooper.

On the left you can see a Yamaha piano and Yaesu and Uniden receivers for listening to radio. On top of the desk sits an iMac with an additional Formac monitor, Logitech MX 518 mouse, and Wacom pen tablet. To the right of that is a 32″ Samsung LDC TV with a pair of home made speakers on either side. Beneath the TV you will find a Yamaha AV amp, Bluray player, Xbox 360 and Sony PS3.

About the Setup
This isn’t the first time we’ve featured one of Steve Price’s home office setups on Desktopped. His original setup had nine monitors and has obviously grown a bit since then. This setup has 40 monitors running on 6 machines. No, you didn’t just misread that.

Believe it or not, it was originally planned to have 60 monitors with a mix of 19″ and 24″. As it ended up, all 40 monitors you see are 24″. The six computers all have core i7 975s with 24GB RAM, two SLC SSDs in raid 0, and several Nvidia NVS 420s and Nvidia 9800 GTs.

About the Setup
This home office is a classic “his/hers” arrangement with “his” side being on the left, and “hers” on the right. On his side, you’ll find a 24″ iMac, a 15″ MacBook Pro, a Bamboo Wacom Tablet, a Logitech DiNovo Edge keyboard, a Logitech MX Revolution mouse, and an iPhone 3G 16GB. Her (lesser used) side contains a 24″ Dell Monitor running off a Macbook Pro.

Both of the desks are IKEA Galant desks with frosted glass tops and chrome legs. The lamps are IKEA Forsa work lamps.

About the Setup
Although there is some lust-worthy hardware present in this setup, what really makes me jealous is the view behind the desk. The setup itself runs off a unibody Macbook Pro. The displays are both 24″ Apple Cinema LED displays. If you peek below the Macbook Pro, you’ll also spot a Macbook Air.

Also seen on the desk is a second generation Drobo, a Western Digital 1TB HDD and a Wacom Bamboo pen tablet. To get dual monitors running on your Macbook Pro, you’ll also need something like the Matrox Dualhead2go. Another alternative is the ViBook.

This case mod was probably one of my favorites to come out of bit-tech.net’s modding community in 2009. Seen here is a clean Macbook Pro computer setup with two additional monitors. The unibody 17″ Macbook Pro is 2.66GHz with a 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM. The monitors are Benq E200HD displays. Seen in front from left to right are a 6th generation 160GB iPod, a Blackberry Bold, and a 32GB iPhone 3GS.

The monitors are connected to a single laptop using ViBook, a USB video adapter.

For a small workspace, this desk is packing a lot in. The displays (center, right, and back) are Japanese EIZO Flexscan HD2452W, 2231, and S1721 respectively. Two of the speakers are Onkyo GX-100HD and the other four that are visible are Edirol. The keyboard is an Apple Aluminum Keyboard and the mouse is a Kensington Expert Mouse. Also on the desk is a Wacom Bamboo Tablet.

About the Setup
This cozy computer nook boasts a lot of quality hardware. Running on dual Xeon Nehalem CPUs with 8 cores, the main system has three monitors. The two outside, vertically oriented monitors are ViewSonic 20″ LCD Displays. The center display is an Apple 24″ LED Cinema Display.

To the left is a 15″ Macbook Pro, used in the case for backup, emailing, and instant messaging. Seen above is a Samsung LCD HDTV, used for watching the news throughout the day.

Also seen in the image above is a Wacom Intuos4 Medium Pen Tablet, Bose cube speakers, and a Razer Deathadder mouse on an eXactMat pad.
