About the Setup Here at Desktopped, we love DIY projects that get creative. With custom built desks, we frequently see people thinking outside of the box and integrating things into the desk in cool ways.
This setup, owned by a 19 year old, has such a scratch-built desk. Integrated into the front is a musical keyboard that slides in and out. In the side of the desk are 7 USB port, a multi-card reader, headphone and microphone ports, and three power sockets. On top of the desk is an embedded audio controller from TC Electronic. To top it all off, all of the cords for the setup run through the inside of the desk, leaving basically no visible wires.

Wow, Is the first thing I got to say! Awesome Build! Is the desk tilted? I’m in the process of building a Desk-Pc, and Want to add a drafting table tilt but not sure the angle, If your is angled, do you like the angle or Wish you made it more or less? If not I’ll got about telling you how awesome the rest of the desk is! Lighting looks great, the built in ports are Great, (hope to build mine in the top of the desk) I personally think this should be at the top of the Rated List! This is the work of a skilled craftsman of any age!, 19 just makes it that much more impressive, this is getting long so GREAT JOB!!

How do you like the wall mount you are using? How far does it stick out from the wall? I’m looking for a mount that will keep the iMac as close to the wall as possible, but still give me the ability to adjust a little when needed. Can you comment or review the mount specifically? Thanks for your help, great set up!
Hi, Can you advise where I can get usb panel. Desk looks nice and separate panel for speakers and screen is the right way to reduce bass coming through the walls. smart
