Custom Computer Built Inside Desk Shelving

About the Desk Mod Four years ago, this project began as a corner desk with a custom built computer inside a Thermaltake chassis. However over the course of the last six months, the chassis disappeared as the components of the PC were mounted to the actual desk. The only remaining component of the original chassis is the motherboard tray and I/O panel. A few pieces were custom fabricated, including the chrome trim and the back cover. The front cover is al laser etched.

Update (10/7/2010) Changes - Added a Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler
- Black acrylic panel added to the back
- Added holes for cable management
- Added two hard drive cages for the RAID 0 and RAID 1 HDDs listed below
- Added a blue LED strip
- Upgraded mouse to Logitech G9X Mouse

- Western Digital 1TB HDD and Hitachi 1TB HDD in RAID 1 (mirror)
- Creative P7800 speakers
