Ok, two things; First, is that a Led Clock? What is it? Where did you get it from?
Second, and sorry, but you really need a black printer
Awesome setup nevertheless
First – The clock is from ThinkGeek (www.thinkgeek.com) (TIX CLock) and is about 40-50 dollars, they are all LED’s and I hung it on the wall rather than having it sit on something.
Second – Trust me, I know. I like things to match and I’ve had that printer for the past 5 years and just can’t bring myself to buy a new one since it still works and does what I need it to…eventually though…
Thanks
hey mate that controller on the right side of the wall behind the monitors, does that control the led backlighting you have behind the desk? if so what brand is it and where can i get it from? looks really good
Probably a silly question, but where did you get the dock on the top of your main computer monitor? I’ve seen it around and i’m desperate to get my hands on it!, Much appreciated. And by the way.. SICK set up
Steve,
The only thing on the wall behind the monitors is a TIX Clock from Think Geek. it’s about $50 and can be picked up from their website (www.ThinkGeek.com). The LED Back-lighting is done with IKEA Dioders (they are thin strips of LED’s and are controlled from underneath the desk until I can place the controller more permanently.
Alistair,
By “dock on top of your main computer monitor” I assume you mean the clock as well? Since it’s the only thing above my monitors.
No no, sorry, I meant actually on your computer, the dock you have on your screen. Similar to the Mac dock. If you get what i mean?
@Alistair
Oh…sorry, I didn’t even expect a comment on that. I am running windows 7, but, it also works with Vista. It’s call RK Luancher iVista Leopard. You can google it, or download it here (http://forums.techarena.in/customize-desktop/1221322.htm).
Hope that helps.
Get a double bed, loser
This setup is one of my favorites I look at this setup every time I’m on desktopped… Thanks for all the many details…
Where did you get the little stand/table you have on top of your desk. It makes the desk look really nice. I’m jealous of your set up! Maybe one day!
The stand on top of the table is just a black shelf that I bought at Home Depot and then put 6 door stops on it for feet. Underneath I added a strip if IKEA Dioder LED’s.
Aren’t you scared of your ish getting jacked? I didn’t bring any of that stuff when I went to college
dude did you live in Wilson last year? I think I walked past your room maybe.
Morgan / yeah each motinor has a computer hooked up to it, I have a half rack with 1 u servers behind the wall.
