About the Setup and Mod This custom setup has quite a bit going on. Nearly every component has been customized or custom built in some way.
First let’s take a look at the monitors. The two side monitors are Dell 15″ monitors surrounding a 24″ monitor in the center. Each of these monitors can independently turn 90 degrees to be vertical or horizontal. A custom written program and tilt sensors automatically adjusts the desktop settings when they are rotated.
The desk itself has been completely custom built and includes a 4″ wide keyboard tray with custom wiring to allow for 21 USB ports. Two DVD burners are mounted under each end of the keyboard tray. Other features include custom wiring throughout the desk and built in charging stations for a variety of small devices.
Additionally you may notice two blue LED lamps. These lamps are actually made from CD stacks lit by cold cathodes.
