About the Setup
This isn’t the first time we’ve featured one of Steve Price’s home office setups on Desktopped. His original setup had nine monitors and has obviously grown a bit since then. This setup has 40 monitors running on 6 machines. No, you didn’t just misread that.

Believe it or not, it was originally planned to have 60 monitors with a mix of 19″ and 24″. As it ended up, all 40 monitors you see are 24″. The six computers all have core i7 975s with 24GB RAM, two SLC SSDs in raid 0, and several Nvidia NVS 420s and Nvidia 9800 GTs.

40 monitors used for stock trading? What a waste! I’d start with 360 degree Google Earth and work my way up to 360 degree Crysis.

this is stupid. especially if the guy uses 4 monitors for one chart. total waste. my screens have at least 2 charts each + indicators, but most have 4 charts each
