Dual Desks: Workbench and HTPC Media Center Playspace

About the Setup
What’s better than one Ikea computer desks? Two Ikea Jerker desks, pushed together and setup to be the ultimate hobbyist’s workplace. On the right side is the computer setup and on the left side is a workbench for tinkering with electronics.

The computer is on the top shelf of the right desk and is an HTPC with 2.5Ghz AMD 4850e, 2GB RAM, and a Blu-ray player. The main display is a 24″ HP w2408h and mounted on the desk to the right side is a second 15″ Elo Touchscreen display. The shelves include a 1.5TB MyBook HDD, a Harman Kardon AVR 210 Audio/Video receiver, Sennheiser HD-280 Headphones, and Cambridge Soundworks speakers.

The left side of the desk includes a 2GHz Dell Inspiron 700m, Fluke 115 Multimeter, 6EXA RC plane radio, 2235 Tektronics 100MHz Oscilloscope, and several other tools one would need to tinker around with small electronics.
